David is a family man, private practice lawyer, has been very involved in the Sarpy County community and is a life-long resident of Greater Omaha.

After graduating Creighton Prep, David received his BA, MBA and Juris Doctorate degrees from Creighton University and has been a practicing attorney in Omaha since 1982.

He is a former Director of the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District and was the deciding vote in favor of the Walnut Creek Recreation Center.

He has attended every OPPD board meeting for the last 4 years as an interested party, leading to his decision to run for the board.

David is in support of additional nuclear power and natural gas power plants and is opposed to all wind and solar initiatives.

As an attorney, he is representing parties against solar energy in Burt and Lancaster Counties and against wind energy in Knox County.
